We measure your radon levels with a calibrated Continuous Radon Monitor (CRM) at the lowest livable level of your home. We also evaluate your foundation type — slab-on-grade, basement, crawlspace, or combination — to determine the right system design.
Step 2
Design
No two homes are the same. We design a custom sub-slab depressurization system specific to your foundation and radon concentration. Interior or exterior pipe routing is selected based on your layout, aesthetics, and site conditions.
Step 3
Install & Verify
Our certified technicians install the system cleanly and efficiently — typically in a single visit. A post-mitigation radon test confirms the results. Most systems achieve levels well below 2.0 pCi/L. We don't consider the job done until the numbers prove it.

RADON MITIGATION FAQs
The most effective and widely used method is sub-slab depressurization (SSD). A licensed technician installs a PVC pipe through or alongside your foundation slab and connects it to a continuously running fan. The fan creates negative pressure beneath the slab, drawing radon gas up through the pipe and exhausting it safely outside before it can enter your living space. Systems are custom-designed for each home's foundation type, soil conditions, and measured radon concentration.
Yes — when properly designed and installed, sub-slab depressurization systems are highly effective. They consistently reduce indoor radon levels to below the EPA action level of 4.0 pCi/L, and most installations achieve levels well below 2.0 pCi/L. Every system we install is confirmed with post-mitigation testing. If levels are not reduced to an acceptable range, we return and address the issue at no additional cost.
Most residential radon mitigation installations are completed in a single visit of 3–6 hours, depending on foundation type and system complexity. Commercial or multifamily systems may require additional time. We work cleanly, communicate throughout, and leave your home exactly as we found it.
Minimal. Modern sub-slab depressurization systems run continuously on very little electricity and are largely maintenance-free. We recommend periodically checking the system's manometer or visual indicator to confirm the fan is operating, and scheduling a re-test every two years or after any major home renovation that affects the foundation or air sealing.

The EPA recommends taking action at 4.0 pCi/L or higher. However, the EPA also recommends considering mitigation at levels between 2.0–4.0 pCi/L, because there is no fully safe level of radon exposure. At 2.0 pCi/L, the annual radiation exposure is equivalent to roughly 100 chest X-rays. At 4.0 pCi/L, it's comparable to smoking 8 cigarettes a day.
